Devas
is a typical small town of Madhya Pradesh,
reeling under the immense burden of
4 years of lack of rain. Here, during
the Navratri Mela in April ‘03,
inaugurated by Chief Minister Digvijay
Singh, thousands of local and neighbouring
residents were waiting to witness the
much-awaited samadhi of Mahayogi Pilot
Baba, Mahamandaleshwar of the Juna Akhara.

What
is Sankalpa Yoga? It is ‘reso-will’ or
the power that is born of resolve, will and determination
to manifest thought vibrations to Reality. It is an
esoteric Yogic science which was once commonly known
in the era of the Mahabharata, 5,000 years ago when
there was mass-scale destruction caused by the enormous
misuse of this power. It has since remained in oblivion,
guarded by the Himalayan masters, till recently, when
it has been revived to empower mankind to enhance
peace and goodwill. |
Sankalpa
Yoga is a sacred science of
the Himalayas, which has been
practiced from time immemorial
by great saints and sages of
India: Kashyapa, Atri, Vyasa,
Dattatreya, Rama, Krishna etc. |

All
beings are different forms of the universal cosmic
energy. This infinite cosmic power appears in a dynamic
state during the creative process and after having
accomplished its creation conceals itself along with
its infinite potential in static residual form at
the base psycho energetic centre of the creature.
In this residual form it is known as kundalini or
“the coiled one” since it lies coiled
at the base of the spine. The word shakti (normally
meaning force) refers to the feminine aspect of the
primordial energy. |
