Location

The Academy is located in Uttaranchal, a northern state of India, at the foothills of the Himalayas. It is 7-hour drive from Delhi at a distance of 260 km and can be reached either by bus or train. The Academy is easy to recognise – there is a huge statue of the deity Hanuman just outside – most locals will know it as ‘Pilot Baba Ashram’

By bus – night bus from Delhi to Kathgodam and a local bus to Bhowali.Ask to get off at Tala Gathia, 5 km after Jeolikote.

By train – take the train to Kathgodam, a pleasant railway station with a quaint restaurant, which is frozen in time. Trains arrive from Agra, Delhi & Lucknow. Then a local bus to Bhowali - ask to get off at Tala Gathia, 5 km after Jeolikote.

By Taxi – if there are few of you coming together, consider arranging your own taxi transport. The price is approximately Rs 2,500 from Delhi and Rs. 250 from Kathgodam.
